Information you share with us

We collect the information you give to us when setting up an account and using Breadwinner. This includes the name you provide, your email address, and your posts on Breadwinner. If you upload starter data to our site, for instance, by using Breadwinner hardware, we collect that information as well. You can learn more about our collection and use of starter data in our terms of service.

Analytics and network information

We collect information about how you use our site — what you’re clicking on, what you’re searching, the timing and duration of your visits — when you’re using the site. We also collect data on the kinds of devices and browsers that visit, and the IP address you’re visiting us from.

We use the information you share with us to provide and improve our services, and we use our analytics information to improve and secure our services. We may use starter data to conduct research about/into the home cultivation of yeast for baking.

If this were ever to change, we’d provide transparent, prominent notice in advance of the shift.

Breadwinner is not for children under 13. To use this site you must be at least 13 or old enough to consent to our data collection practices in your jurisdiction, whichever age is greater.

Breadwinner is not (yet) a business regulated by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), but we do consider CCPA-style consumer privacy requests our users send us on a case-by-case basis. This policy will change occasionally. We will always post the date of the most recent changes and will provide prominent notice on our site announcing any material updates.
