Caramelized onion sourdough discard biscuits
Recipe SourceHere's how Brendan rated their bake:
What went well?
First time ever caramelizing onions and using them in a bake. I threw some cloves of garlic in just for good measure. Loved the taste of them in the long run.
What didn't?
I used bread flour instead of AP and it just didn't taste right. The recipe also called for there to be practically no rise, but the biscuits were so flat that I think a good one or two hour rise would have really made for better taste and better photos ;)
